About

Alberto Rivera began his legal practice at Estudio Gerke at the end of 2009. His practice is mainly related to strategic advice on intellectual property matters. Additionally, he advises in various other areas in the field of commercial and civil law. Rivera obtained a master's degree in international commercial law at Tilburg University in the Netherlands in 2012 and in Intellectual Property and New Technologies at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain in 2018. Registered in the Public Registry of Lawyers of the Ministry of Justice of Bolivia in 2010. Prior to joining the Firm, Alberto Rivera Terán worked in the Vice Ministry of Justice in the Criminal Policy Unit and later graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo".
