Andrés Ostertag is the head of tax legal advice in Estudio Gerke since the beginning of 2018. His practice is mainly related to strategic legal advice and planning in tax matters and those subject to the regulation of the Gaming Authority (AJ) in Bolivia. Additionally, he has extensive experience in administrative and tax litigation and supports the team at Estudio Gerke in the structuring of projects, and the planning and organization of family businesses governance systems.
Ostertag obtained a master's degree in tax consulting and taxation at Fundación CTO in Madrid, Spain in 2014, and completed his training with a Post-graduate course in Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills at the University of Michigan in 2017. He was a law student at the University of Oklahoma, in the United States in 2010, as part of the exchange program of Universidad Privada Boliviana, the latter in which he obtained his law degree in 2012.
Registered in the Public Registry of Lawyers of the Ministry of Justice of Bolivia in 2012.
Prior to joining Estudio Gerke, Andrés worked as a legal assistant since 2010 at Benítez Rivas, Pérez y Asociados Law Firm, and then worked as a lawyer in the same Firm, a position he held until 2017.
